BLACK KRAUT Productions presents a Matthew Hencke film
If admitting the truth means being alone, is it better to live the lie?
Megan Andrews and Paul Howard are in love.
A ring has been purchased. Promises have been made. But when Paul
disappears hours before their intended engagement, Megan finds herself
caught between two terrors; either Paul has abandoned her or something has
happened to him. As the days pass without word, Megan finds herself on the
brink of madness forced to choose between living in reality alone or embracing
her fantasy waiting for Paul's return.
Verschwinden is an independent digital feature written and directed by filmmaker
Matthew Hencke. Part psychological drama, part challenging art film,
Verschwinden
defies genre mixing dark and beautiful images with a tragic and touching love story.
Leah Ford as Megan delivers a powerful and uninhibited performance in this cautionary
tale of ultimate heart-break and painful self-deception.

75 minutes. Color / B&W. English with brief German prologue.
Contains strong language, graphic images and nudity.
