Trivia
Illusions of Grandeur is the first feature film to
be granted permission to shoot inside the
United Nations Building in New York.

Our production team was allowed to shoot
during weekday business hours and was
provided a special security escort, giving them
access to highly restricted areas including the
Security Council room (right).

Though Sydney Pollack’s film,
The Interpreter,
is the first studio-backed major motion picture
to film in the UN,
Illusions shot there while
Pollack was still in pre-production.
